If Hoshoryu gets 11 or 12 wins in July, he could be sumo's next Ozeki before September. The problem with that prognostication is that 11 wins has been his high-water mark in Makuuchi so far. He is also immensely talented, fighting well, and just turned 24. If and when he turns a corner, everyone else should watch out.
